چکیده
Sapera goat is a dairy resulting from cross between Saanen buck and an Ettawah doe. These small ruminants are reared by rural households for poverty reduction undernutrition prevention. Breeding of through artificial insemination (AI) technique was expected to accelerate the increase in population. Unfortunately, frozen semen not available yet. This study aims determine effect distance straw liquid nitrogen surface during pre-freezing process on quality goats. Semen obtained 1.5 years old buck. The ejaculates were diluted tris-egg yolk extender obtain concentration 120 x 106 spermatozoa/mL, then equilibrated at 5°C one hour. extended packaged 0.5 mL French straws (60 spermatozoa/straw). filled pre-frozen cold handling cabinet (Minitube, Germany) held 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 cm above respectively T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T6 groups, each with four replicates. After eight minutes immediately plunged, stored (-196°C) two days, followed assessment. best post-thawed motility (41.75 ± 2.06 %), viability (49.00 0.82 %) morphological abnormalities (4.75 0.96 stage 10 cm. It could be concluded that extender, spermatozoa qualified AI when fresh minutes.

The effects of extender type, freezing and thawing rates on fertility of the cryopreserved semen of the Caspian brown trout (Salmo trutta caspius )
Cryopreservation of semen from the Caspian brown trout (Salmo trutta caspius) and effects of extender type, freezing and thawing rates on fertilization ability were studied. After assessment of semen quality, one part of semen was diluted with three parts of different extender and decanted into 0.5ml straws. Freezing was carried out at two freezing levels, 1.5cm and 2cm above surface of liquid ...

متن کاملSurface freezing of chain molecules at the liquid-liquid and liquid-air interfaces.
Surface freezing (SF) is the formation of a crystalline monolayer at the free surface of a melt at a temperature Ts, a few degrees above the bulk freezing temperature, Tb. This effect, i.e. Ts > Tb, common to many chain molecules, is in a marked contrast with the surface melting effect, i.e. Ts < or = Tb, shown by almost all other materials. Depending on chain length, n, the SF layer shows a va...

Three ejaculates were collected from each of five dogs. After initial evaluation, the sperm-rich fractions were diluted to 100 x 10(6) spermatozoa x mL(-1) in two steps with an egg yolk-TRIS extender containing a final concentration of 5% glycerol and 0.5% Equex STM paste. Half of the 0.5 mL straws obtained from each ejaculate were frozen on nitrogen vapours (4 cm above the liquid surface) ("ra...

The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of different levels of glycerol on Dallagh rams semen characteristics in pre and post freezing conditions. Semen samples were collected from 4 healthy and mature rams using an electro ejaculator, were mixed with Tris extender in a ratio of 1:4 semen and assessed at 5°c. 0.5 ml of straws were filled with diluted semen and kept above liqui...
