POTENTIAL SIGNIFICANCE OF BRADYKININ 2 RECEPTOR GENOTYPING IN KIDNEY TRANSPLANT RECIPIENTS

چکیده
Bradykinin (BK), a vasoactive peptide, is considered to exert the renoprotective and cardioprotective effects. Furthermore, most of its effects are mediated by activation BK type 2 receptor (B2R), whose level expression influenced insertion/deletion (+9/-9) gene polymorphism. The aim this study was investigate potential influence B2R +9/-9 polymorphism on kidney function blood pressure in transplant recipients (KTRs) within first post-transplantation year. Secondary, analyzed correlation between hypertensive status graft function, with respect pharmacogenetic included 95 KTRs clinical biochemical parameters evaluated three time-points (3rd, 6th, 12th month). assessed using estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), while systolic (SBP), diastolic (DBP), mean (MAP) were used as for evaluation control. carriers -9/-9 genotype had more stable compared both, heterozygotes homozygous +9 allele, not only early (up 6 months) but well late period (beyond months). Also, showed tendency significantly decrease MAP, SBP, DBP observed period, whereby patient group significant association demonstrated. In conclusion, genotyping alongside may identify patients risk prompt decline function.

Interleukin 2 receptor antagonists for kidney transplant recipients.
BACKGROUND Interleukin 2 receptor antagonists (IL2Ra) are used as induction therapy for prophylaxis against acute rejection in kidney transplant recipients. Use of IL2Ra has increased steadily, with 38% of new kidney transplant recipients in the United States, and 23% in Australasia receiving IL2Ra in 2002. OBJECTIVES This study aims to systematically identify and summarise the effects of usi...
متن کاملApproach to kidney transplant in sensitized potential transplant recipients.
More than one-third of patients on waiting lists for kidney transplant are sensitized. Most have previously formed donor-specific and non-donor-specific serum antibodies and/or positive crossmatch by complement-dependent cytotoxity and/or flow cytometry. Two categories of alloantibodies include antibodies against major histocompatibility complex human leukocyte antigen class 1 and class 2 and a...
متن کاملSignificance and management of proteinuria in kidney transplant recipients.
Proteinuria is common after kidney transplantation and typically urine protein levels are below 500 mg/d. However, even these low levels are associated with reduced graft survival. Most allografts with proteinuria >1500 mg/d have new glomerular pathology. In contrast, lower levels of proteinuria are generally associated with nonglomerular, nonspecific histologic changes. The relationship betwee...
متن کاملCataract in kidney transplant recipients.
The relationship between the administrated dose of steroid and the grade of cataract was studied in 22 kidney transplant recipients maintaining a good graft function for more than one year. Posterior subcapsular cataract was observed in 19 patients, of whom seven showed severe cataract accompanied by visual disturbance. The total dose of steroid, particularly the dose in the period from three m...
