Abstract. Bahry MS, Radjasa OK, Trianto A. 2021. Potential of marine sponge-derived fungi in the aquaculture system. Biodiversitas 22: 2883-2892. Organic waste from is one triggers disease outbreaks and a decrease water quality that urgently needs to be resolved. Indonesia has high diversity sponges including their associated microorganisms potential field biotechnology. This study aimed determine enzymatic anti-vibrio activity with identify fungi. The specimen was collected Samalona Island, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. assay conducted by using plug method determined clear zone around fungal isolates. Fungal identification carried out molecularly universal primers ITS1 ITS4 phylogenetic tree analysis. isolates were screened for extracellular enzyme (amylase, cellulase, protease) against Vibrio parahaemolyticus, V. harveyi, vulnificus). A total three have been isolated sponge Monanchora sp. Isolate SL 3 SP 3.3 had activities Enzymatic Indeks (EI) 3.95±0.17 on amylase, 3.75±0.36 5.38±0.30 protease. highest obtained harveyi an inhibition diameter 4.82 ±0.37 mm. results showed isolate SL3SP3.3 sequence length 638 bp closely related Trichoderma reesei a.k.a Hypocrea jecorina similarity value 99.69%.

Potential Pharmacological Resources: Natural Bioactive Compounds from Marine-Derived Fungi
In recent years, a considerable number of structurally unique metabolites with biological and pharmacological activities have been isolated from the marine-derived fungi, such as polyketides, alkaloids, peptides, lactones, terpenoids and steroids. Some of these compounds have anticancer, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibiotic and cytotoxic properties. T...

Terpenes from marine-derived fungi show a pronounced degree of structural diversity, and due to their interesting biological and pharmacological properties many of them have aroused interest from synthetic chemists and the pharmaceutical industry alike. The aim of this paper is to give an overview of the structural diversity of terpenes from marine-derived fungi, highlighting individual example...
متن کاملChanges in bacterial communities of the marine sponge Mycale laxissima on transfer into aquaculture.
The changes in bacterial communities associated with the marine sponge Mycale laxissima on transfer to aquaculture were studied using culture-based and molecular techniques. M. laxissima was maintained alive in flowthrough and closed recirculating aquaculture systems for 2 years and 1 year, respectively. The bacterial communities associated with wild and aquacultured sponges, as well as the sur...
متن کاملSphingosines Derived from Marine Sponge as Potential Multi-Target Drug Related to Disorders in Cancer Development
Haliclona tubifera, marine sponge species abundant in Brazilian coastline, presents only a few papers published in the literature. Recently, we have reported the isolation of two modified C18 sphingoid bases: (2R,3R,6R,7Z)-2-aminooctadec-7-ene-1,3, 6-triol and and (2R,3R,6R)-2-aminooctadec-1,3,6-triol. In order to continue our research, in this work aimed at the biological investigation of frac...

Marine-derived fungi continue to be a prolific source of secondary metabolites showing diverse bioactivities. Terpenoids from marine-derived fungi exhibit wide structural diversity including numerous compounds with pronounced biological activities. In this review, we survey the last five years' reports on terpenoidal metabolites from marine-derived fungi with particular attention on those showi...
