Potential of Lactic Acid Bacteria in Plant Growth Promotion
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background: Lactic acid bacteria are regarded the most important concerning food fermentation, pharmaceutical and special dietary applications. Strains have been isolated from environments rich in available carbohydrate substrates, such as feed, but also human animal cavities sewage plant material. Besides lactic acid, other side products include acetate, ethanol, CO2, formate succinate. The advantage of making them suitable for use biotechnology, is that they generally recognized safe (GRAS). Studies on aerial parts plants scarce. Bacteria colonize roots promote growth referred to growth-promoting rhizobacteria. Several substances produced by antagonistic rhizobacteria related pathogen control indirect promotion many plants. present work explores potential growth. Methods: Three isolates were obtained pomegranate confirmed 16S rRNA sequencing belong Leuconostoc sp. checked promoting traits viz. antifungal activity, production hormones, enzymes 1-amino cyclopropane carboxylate deaminase activity. Result: As LAB showed traits, can be suitably used promotion.

Phenyllactic Acid: A Potential Antimicrobial Compound in Lactic acid Bacteria
3-Phenyllactic acid (PhLA) is a broad spectrum antimicrobial compound active against bacteria and fungi. PhLA exists in two chiral isomers, L-PhLA and D-PhLA which show antimicrobial activity. D-PhLA shows more antimicrobial activity than L-PhLA and hence it is receiving great attention as food and feed additive in place antibiotics which control the microbial contamination and thereby increase...

This study was carried out to examine aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) removal ability of four strains of lactic acidbacteria (LAB). Three indigenous (Lactobacillus rhamnosus TMU094, Lactobacillus fermentum TMU121and Pedioccus pentosaceus TMU457) and a non-indigenous (Labacillus rhamnosus PTCC1637) isolateswere studied. The strains were incubated with (AFB1) at different time. The toxin residual in the supe...

Background: Lactic Acid Bacteria are a group of Gram-positive bacteria which are widely used in the food industry as organic ferments called starter cultures. In this study, Enterococcus faecium, Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactococcus lactis, Weissella paramesenteroides, and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum isolated from Moroccan table olives were tested for their acquisition of probiotic and tech...

71 samples of milk and dairy products were collected from 18 cities throughout Iran. 93 strains of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) were isolated and assayed against four opportunistic patho gens including E. coli, proteus and klebsiella as gram-negative and S. aureus as a gram-positive organism. All indicators (organisms) were hospital strains. Among isolated bacteria, lactobacilli (37 isolates)...
