چکیده
Oily wastewater discharge to water bodies can have many negative consequences, especially on the marine ecological environment. Although there are numerous techniques for treating oily wastewater, this paper aims introduce and evaluate potential of fractional freezing (FF) process as a new oil–water separation technique overcome several weaknesses found in conventional methods. FF separates two liquid compounds based their point difference. In study, samples were used: bilgewater kitchen wastewater. The effects coolant temperature, time, stirring rate efficiency studied, significance data was supported by statistical analysis. results show that low temperature is essential allowing crystal nucleation formation inducing growth an efficient process. However, higher occurs at even lower might entrap impurities inside growing crystal. Consequently, continuing crystallization longer time may yield less Furthermore, too high will rupture solid formation, hence reducing efficiency. final values oil/grease free fatty acids (FFA) obtained after both comply with standard permitted International Maritime Organization (IMO) Palm Oil Refiners Association Malaysia (PORAM). Moreover, p-values above-mentioned below 0.05 all experiments. It be concluded method has separate oil from

Design of Optimal Process Flowsheet for Fractional Crystallization Separation Process
A procedure is presented that synthesizes fractional crystallization separation processes to obtain pure solids from multi-component solutions. The method includes a procedure to generate a network flow model to identify alternative process designs for fractional crystallization. The main advantage of this systematic procedure with respect to other reported procedures is using non-equilibri...
متن کاملRemoval of Oil from Wastewater by Advanced Oxidation Process / Homogeneous Process
In the present work advanced oxidation process, photo-Fenton (UV/H2O2/Fe) system, for the treatment of wastewater contaminated with oil was investigated. The reaction was influenced by the input concentration of hydrogen peroxide H2O2, the initial amount of the iron catalyst Fe, pH, temperature and the concentration of oil in the wastewater. The removal efficiency for the system UV/ H2O2/Fe at ...

متن کاملEfficient Removal of Diclofenac from Pharmaceutical Wastewater Using Impregnated Zeolite Catalyst in Heterogeneous Fenton Process
In this study, we report removal of Diclofenac (DCF) through heterogeneous Fenton process using Fe-ZSM-5 catalyst. The parent catalyst was prepared by hydrothermal technique. Fe species were introduced by wet impregnation. Characterization of the catalysts was carried out using XRD, FT-IR, FE-SEM, N2 adsorption-desorption, NH3-TPD, and acidimetric-alkalimetric titration. The bimetallic catalyst...
