چکیده
There is no available data on the occurrence rate of a converged alveolar canal, detailed three-dimensional (3D) courses canals/grooves (ACGs), or contribution each superior nerve to area in maxilla. This study aimed clarify 3D ACGs, relationship between ACGs and nerves, posterior nerves (PSANs) using computed tomography (CT) with histological analysis. During gross anatomy course at Niigata University, we investigated nine human cadavers. All anterior into common which contained blood vessels several bundles surrounded by perineurium, located nasal floor near pyriform aperture. Histometrical analysis clarified that 16.3% this canal were derived from PSANs, 67% dispersed while they coursed down floor. seems be density number remaining teeth. Data obtained observing their suggest PSANs partially contribute nociception

Superior labrum anterior to posterior lesions and the superior labrum.
The fibrocartilaginous glenoid labrum contributes to shoulder stability and provides attachment for the long head of biceps tendon and the glenohumeral ligaments. The superior site of attachment of the long head of biceps (biceps anchor) represents a site of injury to the superior labrum where tearing may extend into the biceps tendon as well as anterior and/or posterior to the biceps anchor. S...
متن کاملanterior and middle superior alveolar nerve block for anesthesia of maxillary teeth using conventional syringe
background: dental procedures in the maxilla typically require multiple injections and may inadvertently anesthetize facial structures and affect the smile line. to minimize these inconveniences and reduce the number of total injections, a relatively new injection technique has been proposed for maxillary procedures, the anterior and middle superior alveolar (amsa) nerve block, which achieves p...
متن کاملAnatomic Situation of Posterior Superior Alveolar Artery in Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Images in Maxillary Molar Region
Introduction: Bleeding is an important complication during implant placement. The aim of this study was to evaluate the anatomic situation of the posterior superior alveolar artery (PSAA) in cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images in maxillary molar region in an Iranian population. Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, CBCT scans of the edentulous regions of the posterior max...
متن کاملBiceps tenodesis and superior labrum anterior to posterior (SLAP) tears.
I njuries of the superior labrum–biceps complex (SLBC) have been recognized as a cause of shoulder pain since they were first described by Andrews and colleagues 1 in 1985. Superior labrum anterior to posterior (SLAP) tears are relatively uncommon injuries of the shoulder, and their true incidence is difficult to establish. However, recently there has been a significant increase in the reported...
متن کاملSuperior Labral Anterior-Posterior (SLAP) Tears in the Military
CONTEXT Given the notable physical demands placed on active members of the military, comprehension of recent trends in management and outcomes of superior labral anterior-posterior (SLAP) tears in this patient population is critical for successful treatment. EVIDENCE ACQUISITION Electronic databases, including PubMed, MEDLINE, and Embase, were reviewed for the years 1985 through 2016. STUDY...
