چکیده
Mitochondria are essential for cell growth, fission, differentiation, and survival, particularly in undivided cells with high energy requirements, such as cardiomyocytes. The morphology position of mitochondria change the activity mitochondrial fission proteins fusion proteins. These regulatory mechanisms substantially affect cardiomyocyte supply normal function. In dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1) is involved separation degradation damaged mitochondria, accurately regulates renewal number. Recent studies have revealed a variety post-translational modification (PTMs) Drp1, including phosphorylation, SUMOylation, acetylation, O-GlcNAcylation, S-sulfhydration. modifications ensure that Drp1 continues to function normally various signaling pathways, by modulating its activity, stability, subcellular localization. This article provides an overview relationship between PTMs cardiovascular diseases heart failure, myocardial infarction, ischemia-reperfusion, describes how these can be targeted regulated, help guide disease treatment.

Kinetoplast DNA: A Promising Drug Target for Treatment of Leishmaniasis
Leishmaniasis is a vector-borne zoonotic disease caused by various species of the genus Leishmania, (trypanosomatidae family) that is transmitted by phlebotomine sandflies. The disease can present in a range of clinical forms, including dermal lesions, metastasis mucocutaneous forms, and fatal visceral forms. In this non-systematic review, we aimed at introducing the role of kinetoplast DNA (kD...

Widespread use of herbal drugs because of their protective effects on different organs toxicity has been shown in many studies. These protective effects have been illustrated in the fields of nephrotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, viral hepatitis, cancer, in vitro fertilization, neurotoxicity, depression, lung diseases, prostate diseases etc. Silymarin has cytoprotection activities due to its antioxid...
متن کاملAllosteric post-translational modification codes.
Post-translational modifications (PTMs) have been recognized to impact protein function in two ways: (i) orthosterically, via direct recognition by protein domains or through interference with binding; and (ii) allosterically, via conformational changes induced at the functional sites. Because different chemical types of PTMs elicit different structural alterations, the effects of combinatorial...
متن کاملPost-translational modification by SUMO.
Post-translational modifications (PTMs) are chemical alterations to a protein following translation, regulating stability and function. Reversible phosphorylation is an example of an important and well studied PTM involved in a number of cellular processes. SUMOylation is another PTM known to modify a large number of proteins and plays a role in various cellular processes including: cell cycle ...

Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the first cause of mortality in Western countries. CVD include several pathologies such as coronary heart disease, stroke or cerebrovascular accident, congestive heart failure, peripheral arterial disease, and aortic aneurysm, among others. Interaction between members of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily and their receptors elicits several biological ...
