چکیده
Fiber-reinforced polymer composites have a fast-growing performance in many areas of engineering as replacement for metallic materials due to their low density, cost, specific mechanical characteristics, and lower energy consumption. The efficiency fiber-reinforced at high temperatures is an issue that requires be well investigated before this type composite can used important fields. aim study examine the change properties homogeneous hybrid prepared from epoxy resin reinforced with jute fabric basalt three diverse post-curing (50°C, 70°C, 90°C). vacuum- assisted transfer molding process was fabricate laminated composites. tensile strength microhardness values post- cured samples were determined by tests Vickers hardness measurements. A water absorption test also performed determine capacity fabricated After testing structures, effect on interaction fiber-matrix interface scanning electron microscopy analysis. results indicate increasing temperature 50 °C 90 °C, improvement 45.48% 34.65% achieved Moreover, show increased reduces 3.53 times.

MECHANICAL CHARACTERIZATION AND ANALYSIS OF RANDOMLY DISTRIBUTED SHORT BANANA FIBER REINFORCED EPOXY COMPOSITES
Short banana fiber reinforced composites have been prepared in laboratory to determine mechanical properties. It has been observed that as soon as the percentage of the banana fiber increases slightly there is a tremendous increase in ultimate tensile strength, % of strain and young modulus of elasticity. Reinforcement of banana fibers in epoxy resin increases stiffness and decreases damping pr...
متن کاملMechanical Characterization of High-Performance Steel-Fiber Reinforced Cement Composites with Self-Healing Effect
The crack self-healing behavior of high-performance steel-fiber reinforced cement composites (HPSFRCs) was investigated. High-strength deformed steel fibers were employed in a high strength mortar with very fine silica sand to decreasing the crack width by generating higher interfacial bond strength. The width of micro-cracks, strongly affected by the type of fiber and sand, clearly produced th...
متن کاملStudy on Mechanical Properties and Constitutive Equation of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Cementitious Composites Under Static Loading
Abstract: The Quasi-static mechanical properties of hybrid fiber (steel fiber and Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber) reinforced cementitious composites (HFRCC(SP)) were investigated by compressive and tensile experiments. The compressive strength, peak strain, elastic modulus and tensile strength are studied as compared with that of engineered cementitious composite (ECC). Study results indicate th...
