چکیده

The High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) observatory has carried a deep survey of the Galactic plane, in course which existence significant number ($\sim$ 78) TeV $\gamma$-ray sources was confirmed, many remain unidentified. HESS J1828-099 is point-like (Gaussian stand. dev. $<$ 0.07$^{\circ}$) unidentified source among 17 confirmed H.E.S.S. Plane Survey (HGPS) catalog. This also unique because it does not seem to have any apparent association with object detected at other wavelengths. We investigate nature and multi-wavelength observational data. A high mass X-Ray binary (HMXB) - comprising pulsar XTE J1829-098 companion Be star been observed earlier X-ray infrared bands, 14$'$ away from J1828-099. With 12 years $\textit{Fermi}$-LAT data, we explore possibility 4FGL J1830.2-1005 being GeV counterpart Within RXTE confidence region, steep spectrum ($\alpha_{radio}$ = 0.746 $\pm$ 0.284), plausible data existing radio frequency surveys. In this letter, probe for first time using whether J1828-099, HMXB system common origin. Our study indicates that might be source.

Possible dark matter origin of the gamma ray emission from the Galactic Center observed by HESS

We show that the gamma ray spectrum observed with the HESS array of Cherenkov telescopes coming from the Galactic Center region and identified with the source HESS J1745-290 is well fitted by the secondary photons coming from dark matter (DM) annihilation over a diffuse power law background. The amount of photons and morphology of the signal localized within a region of few parsecs, require com...

Hess J 0632 + 057 : a New Gamma - Ray Binary ?

The H.E.S.S. survey of the Galactic plane has established the existence of a substantial number (∼40) of Galactic TeV γ-ray sources, a large fraction of which remain unidentified. HESS J0632+057 is one of a small fraction of these objects which is point-like in nature (< 2 ′ rms), and is one of only two point-like sources that remain unidentified. Follow-up observations of this object with XMM-...

TeV Gamma - Ray Observations and the Origin of Cosmic Rays

The present final part of a triad of plenary talks on the results of high energy gamma-ray astronomy and the origin of Cosmic Rays is primarily devoted to the physics interpretation. I will start with the stereoscopic method of operating several imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes in coincidence as pioneered by HEGRA, and a summary description of the results obtained. Then I will turn to t...

Chandra Observation of the Unidentified TeV Gamma-Ray Source HESS J1303−631 in the Galactic Plane

The imaging atmospheric Cherenkov array H.E.S.S. recently discovered an extended source in the 0.4−10 TeV energy range, HESS J1303−631. We obtained a 5 ks observation with the ACIS-I array on the Chandra X-ray observatory that does not reveal an obvious compact or diffuse X-ray counterpart. Archival ROSAT images are also blank in this region. Although there are several radio pulsars within the ...

Discovery of a Pulsar Candidate Associated with the TeV Gamma-ray Source HESS J1813−178

We present a Chandra X-ray observation of G12.82−0.02, a shell-like radio supernova remnant coincident with the TeV gamma-ray source HESS J1813−178. We resolve the X-ray emission from the co-located ASCA source into a compact object surrounded by structured diffuse emission that fills the interior of the radio shell. The morphology of the diffuse emission strongly resembles that of a pulsar win...
