چکیده

Background: The study of antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL), not included in the Sydney diagnostic criteria, syndrome (APS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is poorly understood. Objectives: To determine frequency detection IgA-aCL IgA-aβ2GP1 IgG to β2GP1 domain 1 (IgG-aβ2GP1-D1) patients with APS without SLE. Methods: ELISA chemiluminescence assays (CMA) were used test 63 sera patients: 22 (35%) primary (pAPS) 41 (65%) SLE (secondary (sAPS)), mean age 38,0 [33,0 – 43,0] years disease duration 4,0 [0,1 9,9]. Both methods IgG/IgM-aCL IgG/IgM-aβ2GP1. CMA was for research IgG/IgM/IgA-aCL, IgG/IgM/IgA-aβ2GPI IgG-aβ2GP1-D1. Of them 49 (78%) (18 pAPS; 31 sAPS) displayed major thrombotic events 18 pregnant women had pregnancy morbidity past history. Lupus anticoagulant (LA) positivity 9 out 12 who it determined. LA investigated due therapy remaining 52 patients. Results: IgG/IgM-aß2GP1 recorded 44/18 50/17 by 55/19 59/16 CMA, respectively. found 35 (56%) Thirty IgA-positive positive IgG-aCL ELISA: highly positive, 6 medium 2 low IgM-aCL detected 13 (37%) 11 positive. combined 34 16 CMA. IgG-aß2GP1 32 (24 –highly 5 3 positive) IgM-aß2GP1 IgA-aß2GP1 same both (in patients). 30 (48%) They all cases methods. 14 IgA-aß2GP1, combination 27 most 20) 10 (highly - 8). 28 (high 21) –7). IgG-aß2GP1-D1 revealed 48 (76%) It 38, 15 ELISA. as follows: 46, 17, 33 In cases, IgG-aß2gp1-D1 aCL levels. associated 42 47 IgМ-aβ2GP1 respectively, 29. Isolated observed. Conclusion: 56% (35 63), 48% (30 IgG-aβ2GP1-D1 76% (48 63). There isolated this “extra” criterial antibodies. presence IgA-aCL, IgA-aβ2GP1, IgG/IgM- aβ2GP1. Disclosure Interests: None declared

Antiphospholipid antibodies in systemic lupus erythematosus and the antiphospholipid syndrome.

The family of autoantibodies known as antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) and the lupus anticoagulant (LA) are associated with a spectrum of clinical manifestations including life-threatening thrombosis. While our current knowledge of thrombosis is imperfect and the mere presence of aPL is imprecisely associated with clinical events, our knowledge in this area has greatly expanded in recent years...

Libman-Sacks endocarditis in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus with secondary antiphospholipid syndrome

Background: Libman-Sacks endocarditis (LSE) is characterized by sterile lesions that commonly affect the aortic and mitral heart valves. Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) have been associated with LSE. Cardiac manifestations including LSE could be interrelated with other manifestations and early diagnosis could help in preventing further complications. Case...

Anti-CD40 antibodies in antiphospholipid syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus.

Anti-beta2glycoprotein I (anti-beta2GPI) antibodies constitute the main autoantibody specificity in the sera of patients with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). There is evidence that anti-beta2GPI antibodies induce the precoagulant activity of the endothelium by cross-linking the beta2 glycoprotein I (beta2GPI) on the cell surface. Since beta2GPI lacks intracellular domains, homology with other ...

[Systemic lupus erythematosus and antiphospholipid syndrome].

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disorder characterized by the synthesis of antinuclear antibodies. Nucleosomes-the disc-like-structural unit of chromatin being composed of histones and DNA-are the primary antigenic structure that induces the formation of complement-activating antigen-antibody complexes in basement membranes. The autoreactivity in SLE has been elucidat...

Antiphospholipid syndrome nephropathy in systemic lupus erythematosus.

In the course of the antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), the existence of vaso-occlusive lesions capable of affecting numerous organs is now well established. The renal involvement attributable to primary APS, APS nephropathy (APSN), corresponds to vaso-occlusive lesions of the intrarenal vessels, associating side-by-side, acute thromboses with chronic arterial and arteriolar lesions, leading to z...
