چکیده

Background: Recent reports describe EGPA as having two subgroups ANCA positive and negative. Furthermore, there could be differences in terms of clinical features outcomes (1). Objectives: The aim this study was to compare the characteristics patients with those negative ones. Methods: This retrospective, descriptive included 50 (male/female:13/27) from our prospective vasculitis database October 2014 (2). had fulfilled ACR 1990 or DCVAS criteria for EGPA. In addition (activity index) treatment regimens, (relapse damage) were also reviewed. For relapse-free survival analysis, time first relapse compared according phenotype by Kaplan-Meier analysis. Results: Of patients, 17 (34%) (+) group, 33 (66%) (-) group. Renal involvement peripheral neuropathy more frequent whereas significantly younger at diagnosis they nasal polyposis. median BVAS high All 3 cardiac group but difference found FFS VDI between ANA groups. Clinical features and outcomes of ANCA-associated renal vasculitis.

To determine the patterns and outcomes of the pauci-immune vasculitis in the nephrology department at hospital La Conception in Marseille, we conducted a retrospective study including all patients with diagnosis of pauci-immune renal vasculitis between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2007. Among 33 cases, 25 were diagnosed as Wegener granulomatosis (WG), seven as microscopic polyangitis (MPA) ...

ANCA-positive vasculitis: Clinical implications of ANCA types and titers.

INTRODUCTION Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis is an autoimmune disease that can affect multiple organs, the kidney being one of the most affected. Apart from the diagnostics value of ANCA, they have also been advocated as biomarkers of the disease activity. Recently, the genetic changes found in polyangiitis associated with serine-protease proteinase 3 (PR3)-ANC...

Clinical outcomes of treatment of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis based on ANCA type.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate whether the classification of patients with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) according to ANCA type (anti-proteinase 3 (PR3) or anti-myeloperoxidase (MPO) antibodies) predicts treatment response. METHODS Treatment responses were assessed among patients enrolled in the Rituximab in ANCA-associated Vasculitis trial according to both A...

Pathophysiology of ANCA-associated vasculitides: are ANCA really pathogenic?

The strong relation between antineutrophil cytoplasmic autoantibodies (ANCA) and primary vasculitic syndromes suggests a pathophysiological role for ANCA. Experimental evidence for the pathogenic potential of ANCA has been derived from in vitro studies that demonstrate that ANCA can activate tumour necrosis factor alpha primed neutrophils, monocytes and/or endothelial cells. The binding of ANCA...

ANCA-negative limited Wegener's granulomatosis.

A 26-year-old man presented with epistaxis, nasal obstruction and a subcutaneous swelling over the left malar region with radiological evidence of a mass in the right nasal cavity. Histology of the lesions showed necrotizing granuloma with evidence of vasculitis. There was no other systemic involvement and the patient was ANCA-negative. Excellent response to systemic steroid and cyclophosphamid...
