Background: The main consequence of osteoporosis is the occurrence fractures due to bone fragility, with important sequelae in terms disability and mortality. It has been already demonstrated that information about mass density (BMD) alone not sufficient predict risk fragility fractures, since several occur patients normal BMD [1].
