Carbon quantum dots with photo-generated proton property as efficient visible light controlled acid catalyst.
Developing light-driven acid catalyst will be very meaningful for the controlled-acid catalytic processes towards a green chemical industry. Here, based on scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) and ΔpH testing, we demonstrate that the 5-10 nm carbon quantum dots (CQDs) synthesized by electrochemical ablation of graphite have strong light-induced proton properties under visible light in sol...
متن کاملNitrogen doped TiO2 for efficient visible light photocatalytic dye degradation
In this study, Nitrogen doped TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared by the sol gel method and physicochemical properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), photoluminescence, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (DRS) techniques. The XRD data indicated that the nanoparticles had the same crystals structures as the pure TiO2</su...

Ultrasonic-assisted Method for Preparation of Cu-doped ZnS Nanoparticles in Water as a Highly Efficient Visible Light Photocatalyst
Ultrasonic-assisted method was applied for preparation of Cu+2-doped ZnS nanoparticles (mole fractions of Cu+2 ions are 0.000, 0.015, 0.030 and 0.060) in water as a template-free and green method at 30 min. The prepared nanoparticles were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS)...
متن کاملTi3C2 MXene co-catalyst on metal sulfide photo-absorbers for enhanced visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen production
Scalable and sustainable solar hydrogen production through photocatalytic water splitting requires highly active and stable earth-abundant co-catalysts to replace expensive and rare platinum. Here we employ density functional theory calculations to direct atomic-level exploration, design and fabrication of a MXene material, Ti3C2 nanoparticles, as a highly efficient co-catalyst. Ti3C2 nanoparti...
