Abstract The eventual aim of this research work was to develop a new low-cost synthesis route produce ultralight aluminum oxide ceramic fibers for high temperature insulation. This paper mainly focuses on the application Al 2 O 3 as insulation materials in space vehicles. study extended check during launch and conditions by satellite test. were monitored thermo-vacuum vibration tests before launch. long-term stability, daily maximum minimum temperature, fluctuation investigated data derived from collected about 9 months. other focus characterization at temperature. prepared solution method electrospinning technique. developed can be characterized 0.035–0.037 W⋅mK −1 thermal conductivity, excellent heat resistance (up 1600 °C), good flexibility.
