چکیده
In this study, the microscopic pore characteristics of shale in marine strata are evaluated. Based on field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), low-temperature N 2 adsorption (LT-N GA), low-pressure CO (LP-CO GA) and high-pressure methane (HPMA) experiments, 12 shales from Wufeng–Longmaxi Formations northern Yunnan Guizhou characterized qualitatively quantitatively. Fractal Frenkel–Halsey–Hill (FHH) theory is used to analyse fractal characteristics, discussed. The correlation between dimension structure performance determined. results show that total organic carbon (TOC) contents middle–low level, ranging 0.43% 5.42%, generally highly mature overmaturity stage (vitrinite reflectance ( R o ) values 1.80% 2.51%). mineral composition mainly quartz clay minerals. average content 40.98% (ranging 24.7% 63.3%), 29.03% 16.8% 39.6%), which consistent with those Sichuan Basin. FE-SEM LT-N GA isotherms reveal a complex open style, ink bottle-shaped parallel plate-like pores. volumes (PVs) range 0.012–0.052 cm 3 /g, specific surface area (SSA) 18.112–38.466 m /g. All samples have abundant micropores mesopores, accounting for >90% SSA. dimensions, D1 D2, were obtained data, different at 0–0.5 0.5–1.0 relative pressures. dimensions increase increasing BJH PV BET SSA decrease decreasing diameter (APD). positively correlated TOC negatively content. can be evaluate capacity; larger is, capacity is. analysis helpful better understand gas reservoirs.

Characteristics of Pore Structure and Fractal Dimension of Isometamorphic Anthracite
The geologic conditions of No. 3 coal seams are similar to Sihe and Zhaozhuang Collieries, however, the gas production is significantly different. To better understand the effect of pores, by means of experimental measurements and quantitative analysis, the pore properties of high-rank isometamorphic anthracite were thoroughly studied. Our study showed that the pore structures were predominantl...
متن کاملPore Characteristics of the Upper Carboniferous Taiyuan Shale in Liaohe Depression
High pressure mercury, nitrogen adsorption, nano-CT, and scanning electron microscope with energy spectrum analysis were conducted on core shale samples for studying the characteristics of Taiyuan formation in the eastern uplift of Liaohe depression. The research results show that the shale gas reservoir pores are mainly open pores such as the wedge-shape pores and parallel-plate pores. By a ge...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Nanometer-Scale Pore Characteristics of Lacustrine Shale, Songliao Basin, NE China
In shale, liquid hydrocarbons are accumulated mainly in nanometer-scale pores or fractures, so the pore types and PSDs (pore size distributions) play a major role in the shale oil occurrence (free or absorbed state), amount of oil, and flow features. The pore types and PSDs of marine shale have been well studied; however, research on lacustrine shale is rare, especially for shale in the oil gen...
