Generalized Evolutionary Algorithm based on Tsallis Statistics
Generalized evolutionary algorithm based on Tsallis canonical distribution is proposed. The algorithm uses Tsallis generalized canonical distribution to weigh the configurations for ‘selection’ instead of Gibbs-Boltzmann distribution. Our simulation results show that for an appropriate choice of non-extensive index that is offered by Tsallis statistics, evolutionary algorithms based on this gen...
متن کاملFD-MobileNet: Improved MobileNet with a Fast Downsampling Strategy
We present Fast-Downsampling MobileNet (FD-MobileNet), an efficient and accurate network for very limited computational budgets (e.g., 10-140 MFLOPs). Our key idea is applying a fast downsampling strategy to MobileNet framework. In FD-MobileNet, we perform 32× downsampling within 12 layers, only half the layers in the original MobileNet. This design brings three advantages: (i) It remarkably re...
متن کاملThe Enhanced Hybrid MobileNet
Although complicated and deep neural network models can achieve high accuracy of image recognition, they require huge amount of computations and parameters and are not suitable for mobile and embedded devices. As a result, MobileNet [1] was proposed, which can reduce the amount of parameters and computational cost dramatically. MobileNet [1] is based on depthwise separable convolution and has t...
متن کاملA population-based algorithm for the railroad blocking problem
Railroad blocking problem (RBP) is one of the problems that need an important decision in freight railroads. The objective of solving this problem is to minimize the costs of delivering all commodities by deciding which inter-terminal blocks to build and by specifying the assignment of commodities to these blocks, while observing limits on the number and cumulative volume of the blocks assemble...
متن کاملPopulation Optimization Algorithm Based on ICA
In this paper, we propose a new population optimization algorithm called Univariate Marginal Distribution Algorithm with Independent Component Analysis(UMDA/ICA). Our main idea is to incorporate ICA into UMDA algorithm in order to tackle the interrelations among variables. We demonstrate that UMDA/ICA performs better than UMDA for a test function with highly correlated variables.
