The success of maritime development must be felt by the surrounding coastal communities, most whom work as fishermen and have low education, so it is necessary to pay attention efforts improve standard living people in areas overcome problem unemployment. fishing community group which a Bugis-Makassar fisherman organization has been formed for generations. In general, this Bugis Makassar referred Ponggawa-Sawi with all problems it. purpose research find out how professionalism job creation. method used qualitative data collection using in-depth interview key respondents analyzed APPAS method. results study show that 1) employment creating opportunities going on long time, both structured way, case mustard (workers) bargaining position because there are not many alternative available; 2) business owners terms lacking managerial ability less than optimal. use recommends several things related occur, namely make clear contract workers (sawi); carry training or assistance increasing capabilities owners.
