چکیده
The aim of this work was the investigation effect wastewater generated from poultry meat industry on irrigation olive trees, during a short time period, in order to evaluate its impact pomological criteria and oil quality. Olive trees were subjected with different water qualities: (i) (PWW), (ii) diluted tap 50:50 (v/v) (PWTWW), (iii) rain-fed cultivation system (control). results showed that PWTWW contains optimal mineral proportions, leading improved criteria. However, highest significant pulp content obtained using (69.51%), while 66.71% wastewater, 58.03 % for control. Poultry yielded best standard quality indices. In addition, an enrichment total polyphenols achieved. fatty acid profile not affected following wastewater. Nevertheless, there increase contents oleic alcohols, accompanied by decrease sterols. heavy metals accumulation observed both fruits oil. conclusion, our suggest among three qualities, is alternative improve

Pedologic Factors Affecting Virgin Olive Oil Quality of "Chemlali" Olive Trees (Olea europaea L.).
The aim of this study examined the characterization of extra virgin olive oil samples from the main cultivar Chemlali, grown in five olive orchards with different soil type (Sandy, Clay, Stony, Brown, Limestone and Gypsum). Volatile compounds were studied using headspace-solid phase micro-extraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) technics. Moreover, the sterol profil...
متن کاملEffects of Irrigation with Treated Wastewater on Root and Fruit Mineral Elements of Chemlali Olive Cultivar
Twenty-year-old "Chemlali" olive trees trained to vase and rainfed were investigated in either "on" (2004) or "off" (2003) year. A randomized block design with three blocks and three treatments was used and each experimental plot consisted of nine olive trees. Three treatments were applied: (1) rainfed conditions (RF, used as control treatment); (2) irrigation with well water (WW); and (3) irri...
متن کاملOlive mill wastewater spreading effects on productivity and oil quality of adult chemlali olive (Olea europaea L.) in the South of Tunisia
In the present work, olive-crop yields and olive oil physico-chemical quality were studied after three and six years of olive mill wastewater (OMW) spreading at three levels (50, 100 and 200 m3 ha-1 year-1). Olive yield showed improvements with OMW level. Insignificant difference in oil content and oil quality indices of the control and treatments amended by OMW was observed. Moreover, olive oi...
متن کاملSpatial sap flow and xylem anatomical characteristics in olive trees under different irrigation regimes.
The compensation heat pulse (CHP) method is widely used to estimate sap flow and transpiration in conducting organs of woody plants. Previous studies have reported a natural azimuthal variability in sap flow, which could have practical implications in locating the CHP probes and integrating their output. Sap flow of several olive trees (Olea europaea L. cv. 'Arbequina') previously grown under d...
متن کاملEffects of Climate Change on Olive Cultivation and Table Olive and Olive Oil Quality
Climate change is undoubtedly the most imminent environmental issue the world is facing today. Climate changes could heavily affect olive oil producing areas, especially in the Mediterranean basin. Olive trees are tougher than vines and can thrive on many different terrains and under various climate conditions. Researchers reported that a key area of Spanish olive oil production in Catalonia ma...
