چکیده

In recent years, there has been a growing demand for biocompatible medical devices on the microscale. However, manufacturing of certain microfeatures posed significant challenge. To address this limitation, new process called ultrasonic injection molding or (USM) emerged as potential solution. study, we focused production specific microdevice known Hem-O-Lok, which is designed ligation and tissue repair during laparoscopic surgery. Utilizing USM technology, successfully manufactured using nonabsorbable biopolymer that offers necessary flexibility easy handling use. ensure high-quality microdevices, extensively investigated various processing parameters such vibration amplitude, temperature, velocity. Through careful experimentation, determined achieved optimal quality when under conditions maximum vibrational amplitude temperatures 50 60 °C. This conclusion was supported by measurements critical microfeatures. Additionally, our materials characterization efforts revealed presence carbonyl (C=O) group resulting from thermo-oxidation air in plasticizing chamber. finding contributes to enhanced thermal stability microdevices within temperature range 429–437

Patterning polymer light-emitting diodes by micromolding in capillary

Here we describe a method of patterning electroluminescent (EL) polymers using micromolding in capillary (MIMIC). MIMIC is the one of the lithographic methods based on the microfludics among the soft lithography using a patterned poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) elastomer. The patterned microstructures of poly(dioctylfluorene) (PDOF), poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV), and poly(2methoxy-5-2 0-ethylh...

Polymer particle-based micromolding to fabricate novel microstructures.

Conventional micromolding provides rapid and low-cost methods to fabricate polymer microstructures, but has limitations when producing sophisticated designs. To provide more versatile micromolding techniques, we developed methods based on filling micromolds with polymer microparticles, as opposed to polymer melts, to produce microstructures composed of multiple materials, having complex geometr...

Fabrication of Suspended Polymer Microstructures Using Sacrificial Layer Micromolding and Patterned Substrate Micromolding

Two soft lithography based fabrication techniques were employed for fabricating mechanically independent, freely suspended polymer microstructure from poly(n-propyl methacrylate) (PPMA) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). Both methods involve a micromolding process followed by thermal bonding to the substrate. The first method, sacrificial layer micromolding, uses a water-soluble sacrificial ...

Fingerprint based locking system

Fingerprint recognition technology allows access to only those whose fingerprints that are pre stored in the memory. Stored fingerprints are retained even in the event of complete power failure or battery drain. These eliminates the need for keeping track of keys or remembering a combination password, or PIN. It can only be opened when an authorized user is present, since there are no keys or c...

Fabrication of polymer microneedles using a two-photon polymerization and micromolding process.

BACKGROUND Microneedle-mediated drug delivery is a promising method for transdermal delivery of insulin, incretin mimetics, and other protein-based pharmacologic agents for treatment of diabetes mellitus. One factor that has limited clinical application of conventional microneedle technology is the poor fracture behavior of microneedles that are created using conventional materials and methods....
