Polydisperse solid foams: Multiscale modeling and simulations of elasto-acoustic properties including thin membrane effects

چکیده
This work is concerned with the prediction of elasto-acoustic properties polydisperse solid foam structures. A highly sample first characterized using microtomography and scanning electron microscopy. Relevant geometrical are then determined by image processing utilized to model partially closed cell system random Laguerre tessellations. The macroscopic visco-thermal transport foams next calculated numerical techniques, either finite element computations or pore-network simulations. permeability sound absorption coefficient at normal incidence also measured a good agreement obtained calculations when coupling modeled from Biot’s equations (including visco-elastic parameters). Our results demonstrate that stochastic geometry provides robust framework understand structure–property relationships foam.
