Polarization of Dusty “Quasiatoms” in Low-Density Plasma

چکیده
A model of the polarization dust particles with trapped ions in an external electric field is presented. It based on self-consistent solution integral balance equation for ion density and Poisson potential. shown that, a low collisional regime, form spread shell maximum located at some distance from thecharged particle proportional to Debye length. The estimated polarizability dusty "quasiatoms" very high anddepends strength due ionization ions. With increase electricfield, "quasiatom" loses their far orbits ionization. radius ionic becomes smaller, coefficient decreases.

accumulating evidence suggest that in patients with diabetes mellitus, increased rate of lipoprotein oxidation and oxidative stress have important role in diabetic angiopathy, including nephropathy. to evaluate the association of oxidized low- density lipoprotein (ox-ldl) with the development of diabetic nephropathy, plasma level of ox-ldl were measured in 70 diabetic patients with macro and 63...
متن کاملDusty Plasma Liquids
The dusty plasma liquid formed by micro-meter sized particles negatively charged and suspended in a low pressure discharge background is a good candidate to study the generic spatio-temporal dynamical behaviors at the kinetic level through direct optical video-microscopy, because of the sub-mm interparticle spacing and the slow time scale. In this paper, starting from the basic picture of the a...
متن کاملDusty Plasma Correlation Function Experiment
Dust particles immersed within a plasma environment, such as those in protostellar clouds, planetary rings or cometary environments, will acquire an electric charge. If the ratio of the inter-particle potential energy to the average kinetic energy is high enough the particles will form either a “liquid” structure with short-range ordering or a crystalline structure with long range ordering. Man...
متن کاملMerging and splitting of plasma spheroids in a dusty plasma.
Dust particle growth in a plasma is a strongly disturbing phenomenon for the plasma equilibrium. It can induce many different types of low-frequency instabilities that can be experimentally observed, especially using high-speed imaging. A spectacular case has been observed in a krypton plasma where a huge density of dust particles is grown by material sputtering. The instability consists of wel...
متن کاملObservations of thermal creep gas flow and dust-density waves in dusty plasma experiments
In laboratory experiments, I study strongly-coupled dusty plasma levitated in a glow-discharge plasma. Dusty plasma is an arrangement of small dust particles in a plasma background of electrons, ions, and neutral gas. The dust particles are negatively charged because they collect electrons and ions from the background plasma. Depending on the experimental setup, the plasma’s electric field can ...
