Poisoning of paraphenylene diamine hair dye: review article

چکیده

Hair dye poisoning (Paraphenylenediamine-PPD) is a crucial cause of both intentional self-harm and accidental in the developing world. paraphenylene-diamine synthetic chemical that can local as well systemic manifestation, these are cervicofacial edema, laryngeal edema with stridor, rhabdomyolysis, severe metabolic acidosis acute renal failure. Intervention earlier at right time has been shown to improve outcome. In this article reviewed epidemiology, clinical features treatment modalities for hair poisoning.
