Poetry of Donbass as a Document and Evidence

The author performed a detailed motivethematic analysis of the Donbass poetry, presented in book “The Great Checkpoint: an Anthology Poetry” (St. Petersburg : Piter, 2023). following lines have been identified and analyzed: premonitions war; native land, Donetsk; experiences fiery reality war all its manifestations; death, memory, connections historical past present; mystical unity living dead; cultural linguistic identity. range attention also included journalistic component lyrics — open evaluation, reportage form, polemical orientation. conclusion is made about inclusion this poetry into tradition Russian civil political lyrics, marked by names A. Akhmatova, N. Gumilev, M. Voloshin, Blok, O. Mandelstam, I. Savin, Turoverov, V. Smolensky, Yu. Sofiev, Bergholz, K. Simonov, Elagin, poets front generation.
