چکیده

Loop recorders are being used with increasing frequency for cardiac rhythm monitoring post ablation. The most common implant technique involves a parasternal incision along the 3rd or 4th intercostal space. When this is in women, trajectory of loop monitor and implantation tool can result partial within breast tissue itself. In case report, we present an unusual complication recorder breast-feeding woman. We aimed to describe failed wound healing due persistent incisional galactorrhea. N/A A 37-year-old woman 9 months post-partum medical history supraventricular tachycardia presented near syncope. She underwent electrophysiology study was found have AV nodal reentrant which treated slow pathway modification. Given concern continued arrhythmias, implanted patient’s space position angled at 45 degrees vector similar lead II ECG. Excellent signal parameters were observed, closed surgical adhesive. Eleven days implantation, patient dehiscence site. Inspection revealed milky discharge from consistent milk (Image below). further noted that when breastfeeding, during let-down, she would increased drainage extracted open wound. Plastic surgery consulted, series layers absorbable suture. Over several weeks stopped draining closed. This highlights rare but avoidable implantation. Consideration must be given feeding status implanting women so as avoid any may disruption underlying ducts.

Cryptogenic Stroke And Role Of Loop Recorder.

Ischemic stroke is an important cause of morbidity and mortality when untreated. Identifying atrial fibrillation is important because atrial fibrillation ischemic related strokes are associated with an increased risk of disability and death compared with strokes of other etiologies and tend to recur without anticoagulation. However, atrial fibrillation detection can be difficult when it is asym...
