چکیده
Strategies for redo ablation of persistent atrial fibrillation are debated. This has led to emergence additional beyond the pulmonary veins targeting dynamically mapped mechanisms. Spatiotemporal dispersion is such a technique using stable electrograms spanning more than 75% cycle length over multipolar catheter and shown benefit in recent trials. We set out study an international two centre series clinical outcomes this ablations. recruited consecutive patients between September 2018 2021 undergoing AF. Patients were all Pentaray mark areas spatio-temporal (STD) criteria before any ablation. After confirming vein isolation, or re-isolation if connections present, STD was performed. Areas remapped patient remained AF, prove impact local ablation, including right atrium. If termination AT occurred, conventional methods. who terminated sinus underwent reinduction pacing protocols map further AF inducible. followed up at 12 months with 5-7 days continuous event monitor. In total 168 studied (age 66, 68% male, LA diameter 4.8cm). They had undergone 1.4 procedures on average. Over 50% isolated start case. Termination rhythm (42%) flutter tachycardia (41%) obtained 140 (83%). Mean procedure duration 267 min, average number sites 2.7. The atrium 79 (46%) patients, 1.2 locations treated At months, freedom from 74% overall. Of recurrences, only 11 (7%) 93% recurring AFL. Clinical recurrences most often organised tachycardia. Our informs real world application common scenario when already isolated.

AF Termination: the Holy Grail of Persistent AF Ablation?
The optimal catheter ablation approach for longstanding persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) remains elusive despite significant advances made in our understanding of this arrhythmia. A recent systematic review highlighted the significant variation in procedural success rate both within and between techniques, necessitating repeat ablation procedures and anti-arrhythmic drugs to achieve improved...

15 صفحه اولPersistent Applications Using Generalized Redo Recovery
We describe a new way, using database style recovery, to enable application programs to persist across system crashes. Previous eeorts have been based on frequent application checkpointing and/or the logging of application reads, both of which are very expensive. We include application state as a cached object and map application execution to loggable operations which t into the recovery framew...

Recurrent Post-Ablation Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation Shares Substrates With Persistent Atrial Fibrillation : An 11-Center Study.
INTRODUCTION The role of atrial fibrillation (AF) substrates is unclear in patients with paroxysmal AF (PAF) that recurs after pulmonary vein isolation (PVI). We hypothesized that patients with recurrent post-ablation (redo) PAF despite PVI have electrical substrates marked by rotors and focal sources, and structural substrates that resemble persistent AF more than patients with (de novo) PAF a...
