PO-01-153 HIGHER PREVALENCE OF CLONAL HEMATOPOIESIS OF INDETERMINATE POTENTIAL IN ATRIAL FIBRILLATION

چکیده
Both clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and atrial fibrillation (AF) are age-related conditions. CHIP is associated with increased cardiovascular disease risk, contributing to AF development. However, the association between unknown. To investigate prevalence mutations in patients their clinical characteristics differentiated by CHIP. Deep-targeted sequencing 24 was performed compared 690 3,341 non-AF healthy adults. Variant allele fraction (VAF) ≥2.0% indicated presence. The baseline cohort were as follows: mean age, 67.5±6.7 years; male, 474 (68.7%); persistent AF, 316 (45.8%) cases. Twenty-four a VAF at least 0.02 found 160 (23.3%) 356 (10.7%) adults (p<0.001). most commonly occurring somatic mutation genes DNMT3A (13.5%), TET2 (7.0%), ASXL1 (1.7%). After multivariable adjustment, 1.3-fold higher than adults: odds ratio (OR), 1.34 95% confidence interval (CI), 1.04-1.73, p=0.026. In gene-specific analyses, presented highest (OR, 1.71; CI, 1.05–2.81, p=0.033). showed older more diabetes, longer duration, severely enlarged left atrium, E/E’ those without mutations. mutations, primarily or TET2, 1.3–1.7-fold prevalent related progressed AF. Copy number alterations detected as clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential.
Recent studies have revealed that clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) is an important risk factor for therapy-related myeloid neoplasms (t-MNs). CHIP is currently defined as a clonal hematopoietic population carrying somatic point mutations in 1 of the leukemia-associated genes. Patients with t-MNs often present with chromosomal abnormalities in addition to somatic point muta...

Recent genetic analyses of large populations have revealed that somatic mutations in hematopoietic cells leading to clonal expansion are commonly acquired during human aging. Clonally restricted hematopoiesis is associated with an increased risk of subsequent diagnosis of myeloid or lymphoid neoplasia and increased all-cause mortality. Although myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) are defined by cyt...

متن کاملRole of nitric oxide on the electrophysiological properties of isolated rabbit atrioventricular node by extracellular field potential during atrial fibrillation
Introduction: The aim of the present study was to determine direct effects of NO modulation on protective electrophysiological properties of atrioventricular node (AV node) in the experimental model of AF in rabbit. Methods: Isolated perfused rabbit AV nodal preparations were used in two groups. In the first group (N=7), LNAME (50μM) was applied. In the second group (N=12), different concent...
متن کاملPrevalence of oral anticoagulation in atrial fibrillation
OBJECTIVES Atrial fibrillation is the most common sustained arrhythmia and is associated with poor outcomes, including stroke. The ability of anticoagulation therapy to reduce the risk of stroke has been well established; however, the prevalence of anticoagulation therapy use in the Public Health System is unknown. The aim of this study is to evaluate both the prevalence of anticoagulation ther...
