Plunging jets are used in many industrial and civil applications, as for example sewage water treatment plants, order to enhance aeration mass transfer of volatile gases. They also observed natural processes rivers self-purification, waterfalls weirs. Many investigations dealt with the plunging different configurations, but dependence on Reynolds number jet geometry were still not sufficiently addressed. For example, Mishra et al. (2020) studied an oblique submerged impinging at nozzle-to-plate distances impingement angles, only a rather small numbers (2600). On other hand, geometries have been extensively considered, configuration (Mi, 2000; Hashiehbaf &Romano, 2013). In this work, issuing air from orifices shape considered. The aim work is detail compare behaviors terms velocity fields generated after impacting air-water interface, function orifice geometry. However, bubbles entrainment mainly avoided study characteristics simpler case use it reference starting point future works.
