چکیده
The field of plasmonic nanobubbles, referring to bubbles generated around nanoparticles due heating, is growing rapidly in recent years. Theoretical, simulation, and experimental studies have been reported reveal the fundamental physics related this nanoscale multiphysics phenomenon. Using nanobubbles for applications early stage but progressing. In Perspective, we briefly review current state research give our perspectives on needs theoretical, fronts. We also how understanding can be applied more practical applications.

Plasmonic metamaterials
Plasmonics and metamaterials have attracted considerable attention over the past decade, owing to the revolutionary impacts that they bring to both the fundamental physics and practical applications in multiple disciplines. Although the two fields initially advanced along their individual trajectories in parallel, they started to interfere with each other when metamaterials reached the optical ...
متن کاملPlasmonic Nanolithography
In this paper, we demonstrate high-density nanolithography by utilizing surface plasmons (SPs). SPs are excited on an aluminum substrate perforated with 2-D hole arrays using a near UV light source in order to resolve sub-wavelength features with high transmission. Our lithography experiments using a 365 nm wavelength light source demonstrate 90 nm dot array patterns on a 170 nm period, well be...
متن کاملPlasmonic Lenses
The resolution of almost all conventional optical system is indispensably governed by the diffraction limit. This resolution limit can be overcome by use of focusing the evanescent waves in the near field region. The concept of “superlens” was proposed firstly by Pendry in 2000 [1]. When ε= -1and μ= -1, the negative refractive index material plate can be a perfect lens [2-4]. Because of the dis...
متن کاملPlasmonic nanoclocks.
Plasmonic spectra of "nanoclock" metamaterials can be topologically mapped on a torus. We manufactured arrays of such a metamaterial with different "time" shown on the clocks and demonstrated that the near-infrared spectra of the nanostructures can be predictably tuned exhibiting a rich series of high-order plasmon modes, from the electric dipole to exotic electric triakontadipole that could be...
