Plasmonic diastereoisomer arrays with reversed circular dichroism simply controlled by deformation height

Chirality reversal between enantiomers is of great importance in both fundamental science and practical applications chiroptics, biomedicine, analytical chemistry. Here, we demonstrate an abrupt sign circular dichroism (CD) artificial plasmonic diastereoisomers, which are a kind stereo twisted metamolecules with different strength deformations. The the CD response reversed same wavelength region by simply engineering deformation height nanostructures. Electromagnetic multipolar analysis shows that determined phase-controlled handedness-dependent excitations electric quadrupole modes. numerical simulations further verified experiments using nano-kirigami fabrication method. This work reveals under certain circumstances, diastereoisomers can be very close to enantiomers, useful for exploration profound as well chirality switching, chiral biosensing, separation.
