چکیده
Fabrication of tunable wetting surfaces is sought for the last years given its importance on energy, biomaterials and antimicrobials, water purification, microfluidics, smart surfaces. Liquid management mainly depends control at micro- nanoscale both roughness chemical composition. Herein, combination a soft-template method plasma-enhanced vapor deposition presented synthesis TiO2 nanofibers porous substrates such as cellulose stainless-steel membranes. The protocol, carried out under mild conditions, produces 3D nanomembranes with superhydrophobicity oleophilicity that are tested microliter water/oil filters. Photoactivation by UV illumination provides straightforward approach tunability converts surface into amphiphilic. A final modification embedding them in an elastomeric polymeric shell fluorine-based grafting opens path toward formation superomniphobic self-cleaning long-lasting lifetimes. Thus, reliable procedure demonstrated fabrication nanofibers, which allows supports innovative route development design wetting. This protocol extendable to alternative metal oxides, metals, core@shell nanoarchitectures potential multifunctionalities.

testing plays a vital role in any language teaching program. it allows teachers and stakeholders, including program administrators, parents, admissions officers and prospective employers to be assured that the learners are progressing according to an accepted standard (douglas, 2010). the problems currently facing language testers have both practical and theoretical implications but the first i...
3D short-range wetting and nonlocality.
Analysis of a microscopic Landau-Ginzburg-Wilson model of 3D short-ranged wetting shows that correlation functions are characterized by two length scales, not one, as previously thought. This has a simple diagrammatic explanation using a nonlocal interfacial Hamiltonian and yields a thermodynamically consistent theory of wetting in keeping with exact sum rules. For critical wetting the second l...
متن کاملImaging of Buried 3D Magnetic Rolled-up Nanomembranes
Increasing performance and enabling novel functionalities of microelectronic devices, such as three-dimensional (3D) on-chip architectures in optics, electronics, and magnetics, calls for new approaches in both fabrication and characterization. Up to now, 3D magnetic architectures had mainly been studied by integral means without providing insight into local magnetic microstructures that determ...
متن کاملScaling functions for 3d critical wetting
2014 The scaling forms of the surface magnetization and susceptibility are determined for critical wetting in three bulk dimensions. The naive phenomenological scaling predictions are confirmed for model I systems, but there are logarithmic corrections associated with systems exhibiting model II, III behaviour Questions raised by a recent numerical simulation are also briefly addressed.
