چکیده

Bioplastics are frequently utilized in daily life, particularly for food packaging and carrier bags. They can be delivered to biogas plants through a separate collection of the organic fraction municipal waste (OFMSW). The increased demand use bioplastics aimed at mitigating plastic pollution raises significant questions concerning their life cycle compatibility with management units. Anaerobic digestion (AD) OFMSW is valuable resource production. In this work, valorization poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) composed within Biowaste Bioplastic (B2B) Project framework was studied laboratory pilot-scale anaerobic liquid conditions. Taking into account that addition PLLA biowaste increase production, we performed laboratory-scale tests on enriched different molecular-weight PLLAs produced from or commercial mesophilic temperature 37 °C. highest molecular weight subjected AD pilot scale further validate our findings. production had no apparent negative impact operation reactors used scale. Biogas higher when using lowest weight. experiments, co-digestion FW by 1.1 times. When added feed, biomethane 8% higher, while volatile solids (VS) total chemical oxygen (TCOD) removal were almost same. Importantly, effect observed digesters.

Pilot-scale anaerobic co-digestion of municipal wastewater sludge with restaurant grease trap waste.

The maximum feasible loading rate of grease trap waste (GTW) to the municipal wastewater sludge (MWS) was investigated using two 1300 L pilot-scale (1200 L active volume) digesters under mesophilic conditions at a 20 day solids retention time. During the co-digestion, the test reactor received a mixture of GTW and MWS while the control reactor received only MWS. The test digester loading was in...

Anaerobic digestion of autoclaved and untreated food waste.

Anaerobic digestion of autoclaved (160°C, 6.2 bar) and untreated source segregated food waste (FW) was compared over 473 days in semi-continuously fed mesophilic reactors with trace elements supplementation, at organic loading rates (OLRs) of 2, 3, 4 and 6 kg volatile solids(VS)/m(3)d. Methane yields at all OLR were 5-10% higher for untreated FW (maximum 0.483±0.013 m(3) CH4/kg VS at 3 kg VS/m(...

Anaerobic co-digestion of coffee waste and sewage sludge.

The feasibility of the anaerobic co-digestion of coffee solid waste and sewage sludge was assessed. Five different solid wastes with different chemical properties were studied in mesophilic batch assays, providing basic data on the methane production, reduction of total and volatile solids and hydrolysis rate constant. Most of the wastes had a methane yield of 0.24-0.28 m3 CH4(STP)/kg VS(initia...
