چکیده
Self-sensing properties of concrete structures can be achieved through the incorporation additions in carbon-based materials (CBM) that modify electrical and provide piezoresistive (PZR) to cement paste. PZR pastes mortar mixes with different types such as fibers sizes has been extensively tested. However, very limited studies on self-sensing are available due lower content paste volume leads a decrease PZR. self-compacting (SCC) an ideal candidate implement PZR, two fundamental traits: larger amount SCC compared conventional volumetric fraction fiber incorporated reduced effect workability consistency. The present study aims assess components sizes. Combining carbon nanofibers (NFC) (CF), hybrid systems, could lead obtain identifying their effectiveness thresholds. self-detection performance PZR-SCC samples under mechanical stress was verified by resistivity experimental tests.

Strain and Damage Sensing Property of Self-compacting Concrete Reinforced with Carbon Fibers
Present paper investigated the strain and damage sensing property on concrete cubes embedded with carbon fibers. Concrete cubes of dimension 150 mm have been casted with different concentration of carbon fibers to study the strain and damage sensing property under cyclic loading that can be further used for health monitoring as non-destructive testing (NDT) approach. All the specimens were test...

In this research, the performance of ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) in concrete is examined as a nondestructive experiment in order to estimate mechanical (compressive and tensile strength) and durability (water absorption) properties of fiber-reinforced self-compacted concrete For this purpose 11 mixture designs containing 3 types of fibers (steel: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 percent by volume, Pol...
متن کاملMechanical Behavior of Self-Compacting Reinforced Concrete Including Synthetics and Steel Fibers
This paper investigated the effects of combining fibers with self-consolidating concrete (SCC). 12 series of test specimens were prepared using three kinds of fibers including steel, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and glass fibers with four different volumes fractions and one specimen without fibers as a reference sample. All plans were subjected to fresh concrete tests. For mechanical behavior of...
