چکیده
Tilapia is one type of freshwater fish that has a lot demand in the market. Therefore, production tilapia aquaculture increasing. Increased causes decrease water quality due to large number metabolic wastes. Fish farmers usually require amount money overcome decline pond water. For this reason, it necessary apply techniques improve at an affordable cost. Azolla sp and Ipoemea aquatica are plants can absorb environmental contaminants. The research method used was experimental with untreated pool samples (control), treated kale (Treatment 1), sp. 2) combination treatment 3). Ammonia levels were statistically analyzed using SPSS application. results showed tends be effective reducing ammonia rearing spinach had higher value sample pond, which 5.99 compared 3.22 5.95.

Tol2-mediated transgenesis in tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).
The Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is an important species in aquaculture and an excellent model system for laboratory studies. Functional genetic analysis using this species has been difficult because existing methods for producing transgenics are inefficient. Here we show that the Tol2 transposon system can be used to create transgenic tilapia with high efficiency. We constructed a line...
متن کاملGrowth and Stress Axis Responses to Dietary Cholesterol in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) in Brackish Water
Six isonitrogenous and isocaloric diets were formulated to contain 0% (control), 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, or 2.4% dietary cholesterol and fed to juvenile Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) (2.20 ± 0.12 g) twice daily to apparent satiation for 8 weeks in triplicate at a salinity of 16. Fish fed 0.4% cholesterol showed a higher weight gain and specific growth rate and a lower feed coefficient ratio ...
متن کاملVisual communication stimulates reproduction in Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus (L.).
Reproductive fish behavior is affected by male-female interactions that stimulate physiological responses such as hormonal release and gonad development. During male-female interactions, visual and chemical communication can modulate fish reproduction. The aim of the present study was to test the effect of visual and chemical male-female interaction on the gonad development and reproductive beh...
متن کاملBehaviours Associated with Acoustic Communication in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
BACKGROUND Sound production is widespread among fishes and accompanies many social interactions. The literature reports twenty-nine cichlid species known to produce sounds during aggressive and courtship displays, but the precise range in behavioural contexts is unclear. This study aims to describe the various Oreochromis niloticus behaviours that are associated with sound production in order t...
متن کاملHuman Streptococcus agalactiae Isolate in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
Streptococcus agalactiae, the Lancefield group B streptococcus (GBS) long recognized as a mammalian pathogen, is an emerging concern with regard to fish. We show that a GBS serotype Ia multilocus sequence type ST-7 isolate from a clinical case of human neonatal meningitis caused disease and death in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).
