چکیده
Introduction: Noni fruit is one of the plants that often used in traditional medicine as a for high blood pressure, beriberi, smooth urination, inflammation gallbladder, colitis, dysentery, constipation, spleen pain, liver disease, diabetes and back pain. This study aimed to analyze content bioactive compounds, antioxidant properties cytotoxic activity fermented noni juice juice. Method: Identification compounds was carried out using Gas Chromatography (GC), testing DPPH method (2,2-Diphenyl-1 picrylhydrazine) Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. Results: The results showed phenolic contained had strong with IC50 value 22.23 ppm 13.95 ppm. Meanwhile, test LC50 values 33.26 2.25 respectively. Conclusion: It can be concluded both these materials have potential anticancer.

Morinda citrifolia is a medicinal plant used to treat diabetes and liver diseases. The fermented fruit juice of the M. Citrifolia (optical density = 1.25) was used to study the hypoglycemic and hepatoprotective properties in diabetes-induced rats. The rats were randomly distributed into 4 groups (control, diabetic experimental, diabetic standard, and diabetic untreated) of 6 each. Diabetes was ...
متن کاملAnthraquinone Content in Noni (Morinda citrifolia L.)
Noni has been used in traditional medicine and as food for thousands of years. While the fruits serve as food and internal medicine, leaves were traditionally used only topically. In recent years, concern regarding the possible content of anthraquinones in noni has led to scrutiny by the European Food Safety Authority. Little research existed on the content of anthraquinones in different noni p...

The aim of the current study was to evaluate Morinda citrifolia (noni) seed extract, a food ingredient, for potential toxicity and antioxidant activity. Nitrates, nitrites, phytic acid, oxalic acid, as well as aflatoxins B1, B2, G1 and G2 were not detected in the extract. The extract was also non-cytoxic (LC50 > 1 mg/mL) in the 24 and 40 h brine shrimp toxicity test. There were no symptoms of t...
