چکیده

The aim of our study was to evaluate and collate the chemical constituents antioxidant properties dry rhizomes Ginger Turmeric. assay for quantification phenolic compounds in samples carried out using reversed phase-high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). To determine mineral components inductively coupled plasma optical flow spectroscopy (ICP-OES) procedure applied. most abundant turmeric are ferulic acid (93.59 mg), benzoic (40.09 vanillin (26.69 mg) p-coumaric (23.25mg) respectively. On other hand, common ginger Benzoic (33.31mg), Ferulic (11.41 (11.83 mg). In addition, ethanolic extract (EEG) (EET) had an effective DPPH• scavenging, hydrogen peroxide ferric ions (Fe3+) reducing power activities. According ICP-OES analysis results extracts, potassium was, quantitatively, samples. Subsequently, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus calcium were identified,

Study of antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory activity of cinnamon (Cinamomum tamala), ginger (Zingiber officinale) and turmeric (Curcuma longa)

Ethanol extract of ginger, turmeric and cinnamon was assessed for its antioxidant, antimicrobial and antiinflammatory activity. The antioxidant activity was determined by measuring FRAP (ferric reducing-antioxidant power) assay. The antibacterial efficacy was determined using paper disc method against different gram negative bacterial and sensitivity in terms of zones of inhibition of all extra...
