Physiological Role of Arbuscular Mycorrhizae and Vitamin B1 on Productivity and Physio-Biochemical Traits of White Lupine (Lupinus termis L.) Under Salt Stress

Abstract Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) have a key role in natural and agricultural ecosystems affecting plant nutrition, soil biological activity modifying the availability of nutrients. Thiamine (Vitamin B1) is an essential coenzyme which incorporated wide range metabolic processes. Thus, this research aimed to study possibility mitigating negative effect salinity stress on white lupine via using AMF Vit B 1 through assessment growth, various physiological traits yield components plant. was added (0.0 7 g pot −1 ) B1was foliar applied seedlings (0.0, 100 200 mgL watered by two levels or 5000 ). Salinity (5000 resulted significant reductions growth photosynthetic pigments constituents, endogenous indole acetic acid (IAA), some elements & productivity comparison control plants. While, increasing phenols, osmolytes sodium compared (plants irrigated tap water). Adding with recommended dose boosted certain aspects plants under irrigation saltwater Furthermore, exogenous B1 treatment not only enhanced seeds normal but also, improved tolerance inmproving pigments, element contents their corresponding controls. Finally it could be concluded that, wit shows superiority inducing maximum improving tolerance.
