چکیده
In the present paper, formation of protective coatings on MA8 magnesium alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) with subsequent treatment fluoropolymer is considered. The morphology after accelerated climatic tests was investigated and elemental composition studied in a salt spray chamber (SSC). analysis obtained results demonstrated higher corrosion resistance fluoropolymer-containing layers comparison base PEO coating.

Development of Corrosion Resistant Zn-Ni-TiO2 Composite Coatings
The Zn-Ni-TiO2 composite coatings were developed on mild steel by electrodeposition method. The bath constituents (ZnSO4.6H2O, NiSO4.6H2O, TiO2, thiamine hydrochloride) and operating conditions (temperature and pH) were optimized by Hull cell method, for peak performance of the coating against corrosion. The coatings were prepare...
متن کاملSTUDY ON CORROSION BEHAVIOR OF COBALT NANO COMPOSITE COATINGS
Metal matrix nano composite coatings possess enhanced properties such as corrosion and wear resistance. This paper aims to study the corrosion behavior of pure Co and Co-BN nano composite coatings deposited with different particles concentration (5-20 g L-1) on copper substrates using electroplating technique. Morphology and elemental compositions of the coatings were investigated by means of s...
متن کاملPerformance of different organic coatings on steel substrate by accelerated and in atmospheric exposure tests
Organic coatings act as a barrier to a corrosive solution and check the transfer of electrical charge from the corrosive solution. High performance organic paint systems were applied on plain carbon steel substrate with two different primers viz., epoxy Zn phosphate and epoxy Zn rich. Identical intermediate and top coats were applied on them having equal dry film thickness. Both uncontrolled lo...
متن کاملVibrational Spectroscopy in Studies of Atmospheric Corrosion
Vibrational spectroscopy has been successfully used for decades in studies of the atmospheric corrosion processes, mainly to identify the nature of corrosion products but also to quantify their amounts. In this review article, a summary of the main achievements is presented with focus on how the techniques infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and vibrational sum frequency spectroscopy can...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
