PHYSICAL STABILITY TEST HAIR TONIC COMBINATION Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii) ESSENTIAL OIL AND VCO (VIRGIN COCONUT OIL) WITH CYCLING TEST METHOD AND IRRITATION TEST ON THE RABBIT

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmanii) and VCO (Virgin Coconut Oil) essential oils contain cinnamaldehyde lauric acid which have potential for hair growth, they can affect the physical stability of tonic preparations. This study aims to determine effect irritation on preparations a combination cinnamon oil VCO. were made with concentration 1% (F1), 3% (F2), 5% (F3) then tested characteristics including organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, density test, viscosity. Evaluation was carried out using cycling test method. Data statistically analyzed One Way Anova. The results descriptively primary index obtained from appearance erythema edema rabbit's skin. Observation homogeneity showed that formula I had cloudy white color, characteristic aroma, slightly thick liquid, homogeneous; 2 3 has clear viscous homogeneous liquid; stable pH in 2; formulas 1, 3; viscosity 3. F1, F2, F3 0.0; 0.3; 0.3 it be concluded F2 irritate very mild categories.
