چکیده
There have been recent attempts to revive the traditional production of handmade paper from bark Coi (Streblus asper Lour.) tree in Thailand. A sheet sample paper, made production, was collected and examined microscopically for first time. Film-like material cubic calcium particles were found on surface, which is consistent with results authors’ previous research. Meanwhile, handsheets derived pulp fiber, freshly laboratory, demonstrated a low air permeance brightness high opacity due film-like particles. With felting power fiber coupled possible strengthening role material, both beaten unbeaten fibers used form strength. Some potential aspects suitable creating unique Thai banknote demonstrated, further studies are suggested.

A 'Heat treatment aqueous two phase system' was employed for the first time to purify serine protease from kesinai (Streblus asper) leaves. In this study, introduction of heat treatment procedure in serine protease purification was investigated. In addition, the effects of different molecular weights of polyethylene glycol (PEG 4000, 6000 and 8000) at concentrations of 8, 16 and 21% (w/w) as we...
