چکیده

Sod culture (SC) and no tillage (NT) are modern orchard management systems, two different bases for the sustainable development production of citrus orchards in Taiwan. However, there is information about efficiency either NT or SC on photosynthetic physiology farmed under seasons varying light intensities. The objective this study was to clarify impacts eco-friendly farming apparatus an important plantation species response intensities over seasons. results showed that Rd (dark respiration rate CO2), Qy (light quantum yield LCP compensation point), Amax (maximum net assimilation Fv/Fm values plants were somewhat higher same season, particularly fall winter. As intensity increased from 200 2000 ?mol photon m?2 s?1 PPFD, Pn (net photosynthesis rate), Gs (stomatal conductance), ETR (electron transport NPQ (non-photochemical quenching), (potential PSII) observed spring summer compared winter, increasing decreasing all Positive significant correlations shown between with illuminations, whereas negative relationships winter at 1200~2000 PPFD. In short, useful non-destructive estimations since these indices significantly positively correlated leaves exposed 0~1200 PPFD spring, fall, providing a quick means identify physiological condition various tillages. precise parameters such as irradiances varied also provides implications cropping systems future CO2 potentially wetter drier environments. tillages may hold promise maximizing economic growth grown field.

Allometric relationship between some morpho-physiological characteristics of corn under different tillage systems and sowing dates

ABSTRACT- Field experiments were conducted to determine the relationship between plant leaf area as the dependent variable with leaves number, leaf dry weight, and total vegetative components dry weight and plant height as the independent variables. Treatments were two tillage systems (conventional and no-tillage) as main plots, and seven sowing dates (11 May, 18 May, 25 May, 1...

Assessing Photosynthetic Leaf Area of Corn under Different Tillage Systems and Soil Zones

The photosynthetic leaf area may be influenced by soil texture. The objective of this experiment was to evaluate photosynthetic leaf area under different soil textures, based on soil electric conductivity (EC) measurements, tillage systems, and N rates in dryland corn (Zea mays L.) from 2007 to 2009. A commercially available soil electric conductivity (EC) measurement system (Veris Technologies...
