چکیده
ZnO is a semiconductor material that has important physical and chemical properties, which are frequently significantly enhanced by the addition of impurities, such as doping. A study structural properties pristine functionalized (i.e., doped with Antimony Tungsten) nanoparticles been conducted for photocatalyst-based degradation methylene blue (MB) dye under both Ultraviolet (UV) solar light. Authors have used 1% concentration dopant doping purposes. The synthesized materials were characterized analysis, functional group identification, spectroscopic measurements, morphological examination using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform-infrared (FTIR), UV-Vis spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM) techniques. XRD analysis confirmed synthesized-doped retained wurtzite hexagonal structure purity 99%. Transmission (TEM) data reveals average size pure ZnO-NPs was found to be 7 nm; after increased 18 nm 9.55 nm, respectively, ZnO-W ZnO-Sb. As per FESEM results, minor changes observed Differential reflectance UV-DRS revealed confirmation antimony tungsten, exhibited shift. decrease in band-gap on makes more efficient photocatalytic applications. efficiency catalysts (PCD) analyzed UV irradiation. This effect pH, nano-photocatalyst dose, initial (ICD) PCD MB. obtained analytical results showed ideal conditions MB follows: pH = 9, quantity 300 mg/L, an dose 10 ppm. These lead about 91% ZnO-Sb exposure radiation. reusability also stability nano-photocatalysts. current research may pave way removal hazardous dyes from wastewater discharged many industries.
