چکیده
In this study, we focused on the photoacoustic wave production of a fluidic elliptic cylinder for modelling blood vessels, where consideration cross section can be important some diagnosis vascular diseases. First, under condition optically-thin absorption, analytic solution based Helmholtz equation in coordinates by using Mathieu functions was derived. Then, finite element method (FEM) model established to verify solution. addition waves and corresponding power spectra, both near- far-field amplitude angular distributions were compared. The results revealed that dependent spectra are critical indicators ellipse shape variation. This finding provide considerable insight into vessel changes not only terms sizes but also shapes.

15 صفحه اولSolution of Wave Equations Near Seawalls by Finite Element Method
A 2D finite element model for the solution of wave equations is developed. The fluid is considered as incompressible and irrotational. This is a difficult mathematical problem to solve numerically as well as analytically because the condition of the dynamic boundary (Bernoulli’s equation) on the free surface is not fixed and varies with time. The finite element technique is applied to solve non...
متن کاملNumerical Solution of a Non-local Elliptic Problem Modeling a Thermistor with a Finite Element and a Finite Volume Method
We consider the following non-local elliptic boundary value problem: − w(x) = λ f(w(x)) (∫ 1 −1 f(w(z)) dz )2 ∀x ∈ (−1, 1), w(1) + αw(1) = 0, w(−1)− αw(−1) = 0, where α and λ are positive constants and f is a function satisfying f(s) > 0, f (s) < 0, f (s) > 0 for s > 0, ∫ ∞ 0 f(s)ds < ∞. The solution of the equation represents the steady state of a thermistor device. The problem has a unique so...
متن کاملSpectral Elliptic Solvers in a Finite Cylinder
New direct spectral solvers for the 3D Helmholtz equation in a finite cylindrical region are presented. A purely variational (no collocation) formulation of the problem is adopted, based on Fourier series expansion of the angular dependence and Legendre polynomials for the axial dependence. A new Jacobi basis is proposed for the radial direction overcoming the main disadvantages of previously d...
متن کاملA Finite Element Method for Elliptic Equations on Surfaces
Abstract. In this paper a new finite element approach for the discretization of elliptic partial differential equations on surfaces is treated. The main idea is to use finite element spaces that are induced by triangulations of an “outer” domain to discretize the partial differential equation on the surface. The method is particularly suitable for problems in which there is a coupling with a fl...
