Phospholipids improve the performance, physiological, antioxidative responses and, lpl and igf1 gene expressions in juvenile stellate sturgeon (Acipenser stellatus)

The effects of dietary phospholipids (PL) on the performance juvenile stellate sturgeon (Acipenser stellatus) was evaluated in terms growth and feed efficiency parameters, muscle liver fatty acid profiles, activity digestive antioxidative stress enzymes, expression lipoprotein lipase (lpl) insulin-like factor (igf1). For this purpose, seven isoproteic (44% crude protein) isolipidic (17% fat) diets containing graded levels soybean lecithin (0, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 10%) were prepared, resulting 0.3, 0.9, 1.6, 2.7, 3.9, 5.3 5.4% PLs, respectively. At end nutritional study (75 days), we found that there a positive quadratic polynomial response between parameters PLs; somatic increased with increasing PL up to 3.9% when remained stable. Dietary PLs reduced accumulation fat stores up-regulated gene, confirming important role enzyme incorporating plasma lipids into tissues, whereas activities CAT SOD showed linear increase levels.
