Phosphate solubilizing bacteria inducing systemic resistance with a potential for use as biofertilizer for rice

چکیده

Induced systemic resistance (ISR) and biofertilizer are two activities in plant protection from pathogens as well an alternative to the use of traditional fertilizers. The purpose study was determine other features 4 bacteria that have ability phosphate solvents produce indole siderophore compounds them inducers indicate their possibility be applied biofertilizers rice plants. This is experimental with four (4) been identified characterized molecularly: Paenibacillus alvei AP4SR, AP6SR, Bacillus cereus RH8SR, RH10SR. results showed characteristics could biofertilizers. fix nitrogen shown by AP6SR RH10SR, while dissolve potassium Only three isolates were able increase metabolite levels, namely RH10SR RH8SR. Bacterial inoculation had a significant effect on height number tillers at age 40 days, tillers/plant increased 56.52%..

Thermo-tolerant phosphate-solubilizing microbes for multi-functional biofertilizer preparation.

In order to prepare the multi-functional biofertilizer, thermo-tolerant phosphate-solubilizing microbes including bacteria, actinomycetes, and fungi were isolated from different compost plants and biofertilizers. Except Streptomycesthermophilus J57 which lacked pectinase, all isolates possessed amylase, CMCase, chitinase, pectinase, protease, lipase, and nitrogenase activities. All isolates cou...

Application of Potential Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria and Organic Acids on Phosphate Solubilization from Phosphate Rock in Aerobic Rice

A study was conducted at Universiti Putra Malaysia to determine the effect of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) and organic acids (oxalic & malic) on phosphate (P) solubilization from phosphate rock (PR) and growth of aerobic rice. Four rates of each organic acid (0, 10, 20, and 30 mM), and PSB strain (Bacillus sp.) were applied to aerobic rice. Total bacterial populations, amount of P solu...

Consortium inoculum of five thermo-tolerant phosphate solubilizing Actinomycetes for multipurpose biofertilizer preparation

Background and Objectives Alkaline pH of the soil facilitates the conversion of phosphate present in phosphate fertilizer applied in the field to insoluble phosphate which is not available to plants. Problem of soluble phosphate deficiency arises, primarily due to needless use of phosphate fertilizer. We sought to biofertilizer with the thermo-tolerant phosphate solubilizing actinomycetes conso...

Role of phosphate solubilizing bacteria on rock phosphate solubility and growth of aerobic rice.

Use of phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) as inoculants has concurrently increased phosphorous uptake in plants and improved yields in several crop species. The ability of PSB to improve growth of aerobic rice (Oryza sativa L.) through enhanced phosphorus (P) uptake from Christmas island rock phosphate (RP) was studied in glasshouse experiments. Two isolated PSB strains; Bacillus spp. PSB9 a...

Phosphate-solubilizing bacteria-assisted phytoremediation of metalliferous soils: a review

Heavy metal pollution of soils is of great concern. The presence of the toxic metal species above critical concentration not only harmfully affects human health but also the environment. Among existing strategies to remediate metal contaminates in soils, phytoremediation approach using metal accumulating plants is much convincing in terms of metal removal efficiency, but it has many limitations...
