Pheochromocytoma-related Headache and Symptoms that Should Not be Overlooked: A Case Report

When a patient complaining of headache comes to the hospital, focus is usually on checking for neurological disorders. After these are excluded, functional headaches thought of, and it easy overlook other causes. In case presented here, was hospitalized with severe headache. There were no specific findings in either brain imaging or cerebrospinal fluid. The persisted, accompanied by excessive sweating. As cause unclear, chest abdomen computed tomography taken, where an adrenal gland mass confirmed. With diagnosis pheochromocytoma, improved treatment. This triad symptoms (headache, sweating, palpitations) should raise suspicion pheochromocytoma; however, most patients do not present all three symptoms. Because this, if persist without symptoms, further evaluation be performed determine possible causes such as pheochromocytoma.
