چکیده
The relationship between the phenotypic and chemical composition of local Andrographis paniculata was evaluated in this study. Five seed collections were sourced from different regions Thailand, namely Kamphaeng Saen (KS), Udon Thani (UT), Chiang Rai (CR), Mai (CM), Ratchaburi (RB). They cultivated same conditions, potted, partially shaded (60%) an open conventional greenhouse. phenology these plants assessed at commercial harvesting stage (ca. 90 days after planting). results indicated that UT morphologically distinctive, illustrating highest edible biomass yield (aerial mature leaf size). above-ground parts (viz., leaves stem) then analyzed for bioactive compounds maceration with 80% (w/w) ethanol. It found lactone content (~14 mg/g extract) obtained stem extracts all samples except KS. Nonetheless, total phenolics flavonoids extract KS to be 3.22 2.42 mg/g, respectively. Phytochemicals both capable high anti-oxidant activity (~70%) as determined by DPPH ABTS assays. Chemically, RB contained 14-deoxy-11,12-didehydroandrographolide (156.98 extract), while CM up 0.68 neoandrographolide. Classification a clear morphological traits compositions. In conclusion, our findings suggest variations chemotypic relations across landraces A. paniculata. essence, quantity consumable essentially marker describe quality phytochemical constituents. overall outcome study select physiological characteristics could used further breeding programs ideal variety productivity higher bioactive(s) content.
