چکیده
Abstract Medicinal plants contain phytochemical components of pharmaceutical importance, and Trema orientalis MeOH extracts are believed to have potential antioxidant cytotoxic properties. This investigation explores the phenolic, antioxidant, anticancer property methanol aerial parts T. . The total polyphenol content (TPC) flavonoid contents (TFC) were determined following standard methods. In vitro was assessed by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) 2,2′-azinobis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assays. Cytotoxicity experiments performed against eight cell lines one fibroblast using methylthiazolyldiphenyl-tetrazolium bromide assay. antimicrobial activity assay agar-diffusion method. Individual phenolic acids identified GC/MS examined in silico estimate their drug likeness based on structures. TPC TFC highest leaf extract, with strongest radical scavenging ABTS (84.43%) DPPH (79.60%) radicals. cytotoxicity exhibited (IC 50 = 2.256 ± 0.85 μg/mL) twig (2.704 1.31 HCT116 line, followed bark (3.653 0.05 (3.725 0.30 HT29 line. Clonogenicity resulted a clear decrease colony formation cells, suggesting dose-dependent mode. suggested that detected non-drug-like Extracts showed inactivity.

Total phenolic contents and antioxidant activities of different extracts and fractions from the aerial parts of Artemisia biennis Willd
Total phenolic contents (TPC) of five different extracts (petroleum ether, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, ethanol and ethanol-water) of Artemisia biennis Willd were measured in this work. The antioxidant activity was investigated by three different methods: β-carotene bleaching (BCB) test, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging method and ferrous ion chelating (FIC) assay. Amo...
