Phase transitions in superconductor/ferromagnet bilayer driven by spontaneous supercurrents

چکیده
We investigate the superconducting phase transition in a superconductor (S)/ferromagnet (F) bilayer with Rashba spin-orbit interaction at S/F interface. This coupling produces spontaneous supercurrents flowing inside atomic-thickness region near interface, which are compensated by screening Meissner currents [Mironov and Buzdin, Phys. Rev. Lett. 118, 077001 (2017)]. In case of thin film emergence surface causes an increase critical temperature, we calculate actual value temperature shift. also show that type-I this can be first order. external magnetic field depends on relative orientation exchange ferromagnet. Also predict in-plane anisotropy current, may open alternative way for experimental observation generated coupling.

Phase Transitions in Driven Bilayer Systems: A Monte Carlo Study.
We investigate the phase diagram of a system with two layers of an Ising lattice gas at half filling. In addition to the usual intralayer nearest neighbor attractive interaction, there is an interlayer potential J . Under equilibrium conditions, the phase diagram is symmetric under J ! 2J , though the ground states are different. The effects of imposing a uniform external drive, studied by simu...

متن کاملQuantum phase transitions of polar molecules in bilayer systems.
We investigate the quantum phase transitions of bosonic polar molecules in a two-dimensional double layer system. We show that an interlayer bound state of dipoles (dimers) can be formed when the dipole strength is above a critical value, leading to a zero-energy resonance in the interlayer s-wave scattering channel. In the positive detuning side of the resonance, the strong repulsive interlaye...
متن کاملPhase transitions in periodically driven macroscopic systems.
We study the large-time behavior of a class of periodically driven macroscopic systems. We find, for a certain range of the parameters of either the system or the driving fields, the time-averaged asymptotic behavior effectively is that of certain other equilibrium systems. We then illustrate with a few examples how the conventional knowledge of the equilibrium systems can be made use of in cho...
متن کاملUniversality in Voltage-driven Nonequilibrium Phase Transitions
We consider the non-equilibrium ferromagnetic transition of a mesoscopic sample of a resistive Stoner ferromagnet coupled to two paramagnetic leads. The transition is controlled by either the lead temperature T or the transport voltage V applied between the leads. We calculate the T and V dependence of the magnetization. For systems with a flat density of states we find as an exact result that ...
