Andrographis echioides is one of the stress tolerant plant that belongs to family Acanthaceae commonly called as Kopuramthangi in Tamil, found central region Tamilnadu, India. Local peoples used this for fever, relieve griping, irregular stools and loss appetite. Indian siddha ayurvedic pharmacopeia provide standardization criteria herbal drugs.
