چکیده

Histopathological alterations in the liver of intermediated hosts infected with Echinococcus granulosus parasite can be occurred by necrotic expansion as a result an increase growth larva stage (metacestode), which may cause perturbation production function markers. Thus, this study aims to determinate biochemical profile and some serum electrolytes E. granulosus-infected sheep at different hydatid cyst infection ratios (IRs). fifty livers from naturally five uninfected-sheep control group were enrolled study. Cardiac blood samples under sterilized conditions gently collected isolated sera biochemically assayed for determination markers including; Aspartate transaminase (AST), Alanine (ALT), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), Albumin (ALB) total protein (TP), well level including Ca, K, Na Cl using fully automatic analyzer, FUJI-Film. The current data indicated progressive AST, ALT, ALP, Ca K. ALB TP gradually declined rise ratio cysts. In conclusion, findings electrolytes, mainly K based on liver. Additionally, acute chronic parasites determined serum.

Detection of Echinococcus granulosus infection in dogs

Cystic Echinococcosis is an important zoonosis in the sheep rising areas of Iran. To develop a simple and reliable diagnostic method for Echinococcus infection in definitive hosts, E. granulosus polyoclonal antibodies (PolyAbs) were prepared from adult worm in rabbit. A selected PoAb was used for coproantigen detection in faecal samples obtained from animals naturally infected with Echinococcus...

Reemergence of Canine Echinococcus granulosus Infection, Wales

As a consequence of large-scale outdoor slaughter of sheep during the 2001 foot and mouth disease (FMD) outbreak in the United Kingdom and the possibility of increased risk for transmission of Echinococcus granulosus between sheep and dogs, a large survey of canine echinococcosis was undertaken in mid-Wales in 2002. An Echinococcus coproantigen-positive rate of 8.1% (94/1,164) was recorded on 2...

Increased Expression of TGF-β1 in Correlation with Liver Fibrosis during Echinococcus granulosus Infection in Mice

To investigate the potential role of transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1 in liver fibrosis during Echinococcus granulosus infection, 96 BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 2 groups, experimental group infected by intraperitoneal injection with a metacestode suspension and control group given sterile physiological saline. The liver and blood samples were collected at days 2, 8, 30, 90, 180, a...
